Anthony has over a decade of experience as a Certified Professional City Planner.
He built over two dozen miles of bike lanes in Aurora, Colorado, including the city’s first buffered and separated bike lanes. Anthony also launched the state’s first private bike sharing program.
He has experience developing housing and growth policy for local governments in Central Puget Sound. As a result of his work, affordable housing was successfully procured on Sound Transit-owned surplus property next to Angle Lake Link Station.
Anthony set the early foundational work for affordable housing in the City of Auburn, collaborating with neighboring jurisdictions to develop a sub-regional approach to housing growth targets. As part of his efforts to develop and deliver the City’s Housing Action Plan, Anthony coordinated the political support needed to eliminate minimum parking requirements Downtown and support an increased height limit to support cross-laminated timber (CLT) construction. He successfully lobbied regional decision-makers to allocate future growth in the Sounder Station Area of Downtown Auburn.
